Taken from the growing crypto vernacular, Cryptosis is a term used to define one’s complete obsession with the world of cryptocurrencies and keeping abreast with all its news and information. With mainstream media taking significant interest in cryptocurrencies, its popularity continues to grow exponentially as people who had never invested in their lives before, have started to acquire and trade in Bitcoin, Ethereum and now the Dogecoin. This wave of new traders and those looking to join the crypto movement are in a state of Cryptosis as they spend hours online; browsing forums and reading everything that is available online on cryptocurrencies to help maximise the return on their investments.  

This piece is a metaphorical representation of Cryptosis, as we see a woman in a state of delirious ecstasy, being engulfed by the cosmos which is filled with constellations in the shape of various symbols of cryptocurrencies. She seems to be dissolving into space itself, sinking deeper into the embrace of the universe with every particle of her being merging with the stars.
