Beauty in diversity
Kristel Bechara has always strived to create art that celebrates life and honors beauty in its various incarnations. As a modern visual artist, her work is known for its innovative use of dynamic patterns and expressive colors which are set against a monochromatic background, creating imagery that is vivid and thought provoking.
Having started her career in the UAE over a decade ago, Kristel has released numerous collections of paintings over the years, with the artworks from the series being exhibited in galleries across the world, earning great appreciation and demand in Tokyo, Milano, London, Côte d’Azur and Brussels. Having been featured in publications such as Forbes Magazine, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar ART and Wired, Kristel’s uncompromising artistic vision and dedication to her craft has resulted in her receiving numerous accolades and awards within the region.
Kristel has also adopted NFT technology into her impressive repertoire – being the first established female artist from the Middle East to have adopted NFT technology into her art practice. She has released numerous art collections as NFTs to popular demand, which has helped in cementing her reputation as a prolific and innovative creator in the field.
Over the course of her career, Kristel has collaborated with world-renowned brands such as Glenfiddich, Lenovo, OnStar (General Motors), Meta (Instagram), Birkenstock, One Off (Quincy Jones) and WIO Bank. These collaborations resulted in the creation of artworks which were focused around thematic elements that Kristel is passionate about: innovation, empowerment and individuality. Along with these collaborations, Kristel also worked with established businesses within the region to produce collaborative pieces and exhibitions to great acclaim.
Residing in Dubai, Kristel currently works on her art from her studio in the Onyx Tower, where she also hosts viewings of her recent series of paintings.
